Before becoming a writer I worked in technical and agronomy roles in the fresh produce industry for ten years.

Over the last 20 years I have written thousands of articles, primarily on agricultural, horticultural, bioenergy and related subjects.

In 2006 I co-founded the online renewables magazine Enagri, acquiring the company in 2007. Since 2014 I have focused on journalism and copywriting and write for a number of trade magazines, agencies and private clients in the UK and overseas.

I hold a degree (BSc) in Horticulture, and various industry qualifications including BASIS and FACTS certificates.
